Aruba August tourism reached 145,750 stayover visitors and 967,001 overnight stays, according to figures shared by the Aruba Tourism Authority.
North America remains the largest market
According to 24ora, visitors stayed an average of 6.6 nights during August 2026. North America accounted for 69.6% of arrivals, followed by South America at 22.3%, Europe at 5.8% and other regions at 2.3%.
The United States was the largest individual market with 96,790 visitors. Argentina supplied 14,901 visitors, while the Netherlands led the European market with 2,720.
Short-term rentals generate reported $36.8 million
Average short-term-rental occupancy was 57% and the average daily rate was $359. Estimated monitored revenue was $36.8 million. Generation X was the largest year-to-date segment at 26.4%, followed by millennials at 24.3%, baby boomers at 23% and Generation Z at 17.4%.
