Iberostar Aruba Housekeeping Week recognized employees at JOIA Aruba with activities centered on appreciation, wellbeing and time together outside their regular duties.
Week combines recognition and wellness
According to 24ora, the program began with a staff breakfast and continued with a family movie night. A midweek wellness session gave employees time to recharge, while a bowling event added a social and recreational component.
The resort concluded the program with a Mexican-themed meal. Assistant Executive Housekeeper Rosalyn Flanegin said the activities gave colleagues an opportunity to connect, relax and acknowledge one another’s work.
Resort highlights housekeeping’s daily role
General Manager Arnaud Le Lanchon said housekeeping is central to the guest experience and staff support must include physical, emotional and social wellbeing. The company described the week as recognition of employees supporting daily hotel operations.
