FlightHub records sharp Aruba growth
Aruba bookings from Canada rose 118% compared with the same period a year earlier, according to FlightHub data reported by NoticiaCla. The comparison covers reservations made between October 2025 and August 2026.
The increase placed Aruba among the destinations with the strongest percentage growth in FlightHub’s 2026 travel-trend report.
Aruba ranks among fast-growing destinations
The report listed Casablanca at 250% growth and Liberia, Costa Rica, at 145%, followed by Aruba’s 118% increase. Punta Cana was also highlighted with growth of 109%. These figures describe changes in FlightHub booking activity rather than total national visitor arrivals.
Travel patterns remain subject to change
FlightHub attributed shifting choices to international events, generational preferences and emerging destinations. The trend will need continued monitoring to determine whether increased Canadian demand carries into 2027.
