Family event set for October 14
The Aruba Conservation Foundation is organizing an Arikok movie night for families at the national park’s Visitor Center on October 14. The event is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature the animated film “The Wild Robot.”
ACF said the story’s themes of empathy, cooperation and connection with nature fit the foundation’s learning and outreach work.
Endemic species presentation joins the program
ACF’s Learning & Outreach team will give a short presentation about Aruba’s endemic species and their role in the island’s ecosystem. The program is intended for families with children ages six and older.
Registration is required because space is limited
Participants are asked to bring folding chairs, while food and drinks will be available for purchase. Capacity is limited, and ACF is directing families to register through the form linked in the original announcement.
