ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Colegio Santa Filomena recently celebrated its annual graduation ceremony, honoring 22 students who successfully completed primary school and are preparing to begin secondary education.
The ceremony was held at the Renaissance Convention Center and featured an “Under the Sea” theme, with each table decorated with aquariums containing live fish.
Teachers and school staff recognized the graduates with a special poem, while Grade 6 students gave a performance for family members and guests attending the celebration.
Master of Ceremonies Addonsito Croes congratulated the graduates and also recognized teacher Magdaly for recently completing her studies at IPA Aruba.
The graduating students will continue their education at several secondary schools, including Filomena College MAVO, Abraham de Veer School, Colegio Nigel Matthew, St. Augustinus College, and EPB San Nicolas.
The event concluded with a blessing, student presentations, and commemorative photographs celebrating the graduates’ achievements.
