Aruba’s Raad van Advies (Council of Advice) has published a special jubilee advisory to mark its 40th anniversary, reflecting on four decades of advising on fundamental rights, legal certainty and sound administration.
The advisory, titled ‘Jubileumadvies 1986-2026,’ looks back on 40 years of the Council’s work through the lens of Article 43 of the Statute, Diario reported on October 17.
Presented to the island’s leadership
During October, Governor Alfonso Boekhoudt, Parliament President Sneek and Prime Minister Mike Eman each received the special advisory from the Council’s president and secretary.
About the advisory
The publication examines fundamental rights and freedoms, legal certainty and sound administration as seen through the Council’s advisory practice since 1986. The full text of the advisory is available at www.rva.aw.
