Fundacion Pa Nos Muchanan has brought its ‘The Learning Battery’ program to Traimerdia Kudawecha, the after-school care, continuing its work with children and youth leaders across Aruba, Diario reported on October 17.
Using the metaphor of a ‘learning battery,’ children explored how their mental and emotional capacity varies during the day — and how the classroom environment and interactions with others can either charge or drain that capacity.
Reflecting on connection and safety
Through interactive activities, the Traimerdia Kudawecha leaders reflected on their own role and on practical ways to create more connection, safety and space for emotional regulation in the classroom.
What’s next
Fundacion Pa Nos Muchanan continues the program at other after-school locations, building on the sessions already held.
