An Aruba library has received five copies of Maikel na Regatta 2026 from the book’s 11-year-old author, Er’Chayon Vlijt, according to a 24ora report published on October 14.
Young author delivers copies with his parents
Vlijt travelled to Aruba with his parents to play baseball. During their visit, he and his parents stopped at the library to deliver the five books.
Copies intended for the children’s collection
Fundashon Lesa Ta Dushi in Bonaire published the children’s book, which was illustrated by Rogen “Rogi” Pineda. The donated copies are intended for the library’s Papiamentu-language children’s collection, the report said.
