ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Lilien Ponson has successfully earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organization, Governance and Management (OGM) from the University of Aruba after defending her thesis on July 9, 2026.
Her research, titled “An Exploratory Study of Teachers’ Perspectives on Student Learning, Comprehension, and Active Participation Before and After Implementation of the Proyecto Scol Multilingual (PSML) Program,” examined teachers’ experiences with the multilingual education initiative at Colegio San Hose and Colegio Conrado Coronel.
The study explored the impact of the PSML program on student learning, comprehension and classroom participation, while also identifying the benefits and challenges experienced by teachers and students since the program’s implementation in 2012.
Ponson’s graduation committee consisted of Valerie Maduro, Niels Wiskerke and Vanessa Scholing-Pietersz. She also expressed gratitude to the OGM faculty and everyone who supported her academic journey.
