A traffic accident in Sabana Basora on Monday afternoon resulted in injuries to a 14-year-old cyclist. The incident occurred near the ex-Julienis area when a car struck the youth riding a bicycle.
Emergency services, including police and ambulance personnel, arrived promptly at the scene. While attending to the primary accident, a second vehicle collided with wreckage, causing damage to its wheel. Paramedics treated the injured cyclist before transporting the youth to the hospital for further medical attention.
Traffic police temporarily closed part of the road to investigate the circumstances of both collisions and to clear the scene.
