A Carnival Village design tender has been announced for San Nicolas, Tourism Minister Wendrick Cicilia said in an October 22 report by 24ora. The public tender concerns a master plan and design for Carnaval & Entertainment Village.
Planning covers kiosks, parking and a stage
The minister described proposals for modern kiosks, additional parking and a stage for concerts and cultural events. He said the initiative aims to modernize the existing venue and its facilities.
Economic benefits remain an objective
Cicilia presented the project as an opportunity to support tourism and economic activity in San Nicolas. Those statements describe the government’s aims rather than measured results from a completed development.
The report announces the design-planning tender, not a finished building or an approved final design. It does not give a contract award, project cost, tender deadline or construction completion date.
