Marine Barracks Savaneta Opens Doors to Public

Marine Barracks Savaneta will open its doors to the public on May 1, 2026, for an Open Day event. From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the public is invited to tour the facilities and learn about the Marine Corps and various security services operating in Aruba.

Interactive Activities and Demonstrations

The event will feature demonstrations by the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard, Aruba Police Force, and Aruba Fire Department. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in interactive activities, including navigating on a FRISC fast boat, riding the Anaconda vehicle, and rappelling under supervision. A paintball station will also be available for those wishing to test their shooting skills.

Entertainment and Charity Lottery

In addition to the activities, food courts and market stalls will be set up for refreshments and shopping. A highlight of the day will be the Super Lottery, with proceeds going to Fundashon Snoop Doggy and Favi. Live music will be provided throughout the day by CoolFM and FreshFM.
