The Lighting Parade on Saturday night was simply fabulous, kicking off with a spectacular performance by a steel band, with members dressed in luxurious costumes, setting the stage for the eight groups that participated in the event.

The parade began with TOB Carnival Group showcasing their theme Las Vegas, filled with glamour. The group was divided into four sections, with three musical bands. It featured a dazzling display of casino life and iconic Las Vegas hotels. Their floats showcased the Carnival Queen, Mr. Universe, and more, earning loud applause from the audience at every section, with the Hospital Group particularly causing a stir.

Next, Dushi Carnival Group took to the streets, accompanied by the Duro music band. Their float highlighted the beautiful Reina Hubenil of Aruba Carnival, Kira, who received well-deserved applause for her beauty, grace, and charm, alongside her dancers. The group’s colorful and elaborate costumes added to the excitement.

Champagne Carnival Group, the third group, brought creativity and ingenuity with a float that moved by camera, not by people, with their theme The Grand Circus. The group captured the crowd’s attention with circus elements, including tents and participants dressed in vibrant costumes.

Empire Carnival Group followed as the fourth group, marching along with the Buleria music band. With over 500 participants, they lit up the night with their float, symbolizing a theme that illuminated the dark, representing the challenges of the world. Their stunning costumes and sublime atmosphere received overwhelming applause.

The fifth group, Los Laga Bay, accompanied by Robert and his Solo Banda Show, brought energy and color to the parade, with the band playing The Lizard Kacking four times, creating an electric atmosphere for the crowd.

HEPA Carnival Group, the sixth group, was smaller in size but showed growth and potential. They were accompanied by the Elite music band.

The seventh group, Colours Carnival Group, brought their concept of DJ music to move the crowd and bring joy to the masses, while the Royal Carnival Group concluded the parade as the eighth and final group, accompanied by NBO. Their float impressed with the beautiful Señora Carnaval, a teacher from EPI College who represented the entire institution. As Aruba celebrated its Lighting Parade for Carnival 72, the crowd was left exhilarated.

Finally, Last Lap was performed by Youth Xtreme, and the public enjoyed the grand finale.
