ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AAN) — The San Nicolas Pop-Up Market success reached a new high as the first edition of 2026 became the most visited Pop-Up Market to date, drawing large crowds to Plaza Lolita on Saturday morning.
The event stood out for its vibrant atmosphere, enhanced by the lively sounds of a steelband, which added a strong Caribbean touch to the market experience. Tourists and local residents alike strolled through the plaza, enjoying the music while supporting local vendors and entrepreneurs.
With the rhythmic steelpan music filling the air, visitors explored a variety of stalls showcasing local products, creating a festive and welcoming environment that highlighted the cultural energy of San Nicolas.
Among those expressing pride in the event’s success was Minister Geoffrey Wever, who thanked everyone who attended the San Nicolas Pop-Up Market at Plaza Lolita. He emphasized the importance of continued community support in efforts to revitalize the city center of San Nicolas.
