ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AAN) — The Kiwanis Club San Nicolas Smile Drive is making a meaningful difference by providing children across Aruba with access to essential dental care through a creative and community-driven initiative.
According to information received by DIARIO, many children in the community lack access to basic dental services, as even a simple visit to the dentist can be financially out of reach. Untreated dental issues can cause pain, disrupt education, and negatively affect a child’s confidence and wellbeing.
To address this challenge, the Kiwanis Club of San Nicolas launched the Smile Drive, a fundraising campaign designed to help children receive the dental care they urgently need throughout the year.
Supporters can participate by purchasing a specially designed “Tumbler”, priced at Afl. 75, with the full amount covering dental care for one child for an entire year. Purchasing two tumblers for Afl. 150 supports dental care for two children.
The tumblers are available for purchase via Pay.aw and Sentoo.me. Buyers can choose from several colors, including white, lavender, navy blue, and sage green. Each tumbler features the Smile Drive logo, has a 25oz capacity, and is made by HydraPeak, capable of keeping beverages cold for up to 30 hours or hot for 12 hours.
The Kiwanis Club will soon announce pickup dates for the Smile Drive tumblers. Alternatively, supporters can contact the organization through Facebook to arrange delivery.
Through the Kiwanis Club San Nicolas Smile Drive, the organization continues its commitment to improving children’s health and ensuring brighter, healthier smiles across Aruba.
