During the recent budget process, Parliamentarian Evelyn Wever-Croes highlighted that thanks to the vision, determination, and sound financial management of her government, Gabinete Wever-Croes, the current administration AVP – Futuro now has the opportunity to execute its plans and allocate funds to give back to the community.
According to the parliamentarian, during the handover of governance in March, former Prime Minister Mike Eman acknowledged the responsible financial management that helped place Aruba back on a sustainable path, enabling the current government to have the necessary funds to benefit the community.
Parliamentarian Wever-Croes emphasized that despite inheriting a challenging financial situation and the setbacks caused by the pandemic, the efforts of her government, professionals, and citizens restored the country’s financial stability. “Now we can say this is the moment to give back to those who need it most,” she noted.
She also praised current Finance Minister Geoffrey Wever for continuing the financial vision and management of Gabinete Wever-Croes. “The 2026 budget is proof. Thanks to Gabinete Wever-Croes, today there are funds to support those in need,” stated Evelyn Wever-Croes.
