ORANJESTAD (AAN): The Un Canto pa Aruba su Himno y Bandera Festival Brings Community Together as residents gathered over the weekend to celebrate Aruba’s culture and patriotic spirit during the festival held at Carnival Village in San Nicolas.

The Un Canto pa Aruba su Himno y Bandera Festival Brings Community Together featured performances in the Infantil, Hubenil, and Adulto categories, where participants took the stage to showcase their musical talents and express their pride for Aruba through patriotic songs.

The festival was organized by the Comision Promove Cultura together with the Fundacion Cultural di Festival Folklorico, highlighting two important milestones for Aruba in 2026: the 40th anniversary of Status Aparte and the 50th anniversary of Aruba’s National Anthem and Flag.

Throughout the event, the community came together to enjoy inspiring performances that celebrated Aruba’s national identity and cultural heritage. Participants delivered powerful musical interpretations that honored the island and reflected a strong sense of patriotism among the performers and the audience.

The Un Canto pa Aruba su Himno y Bandera Festival Brings Community Together as families, friends, and cultural supporters filled the venue to witness the performances and celebrate Aruba’s traditions.

SETAR, Aruba’s national telecommunications company, congratulated all participants and winners across the three categories. The company also recognized the efforts of the musicians, composers, arrangers, and organizing committees who contributed to making the festival a memorable cultural celebration.

According to SETAR, the event created two unforgettable evenings filled with music, pride, and patriotic spirit, bringing together people from across the island.
