ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AAN) — Olga van der Klooster new book Aruba has been officially added to the National Collection of the National Library of Aruba, strengthening the island’s literary and cultural heritage.
The National Library of Aruba received the book titled “Niets zal ik onbeproefd laten – De Caribische erfgoedcollecties van Anton van Koolwijk: dienaar van God, de wetenschap en de Nederlandse Staat”, authored by Olga van der Klooster. The publication focuses on Caribbean heritage collections and their historical significance.
Van der Klooster personally presented her latest publication to Library Director Astrid Britten and Zetsia Ponson, who is responsible for the Arubiana Department. The book will now form part of the library’s National Collection, ensuring public access for research, education, and cultural preservation.
The National Library highlighted the importance of preserving scholarly works that document Caribbean history and heritage, noting that contributions such as this support education and historical awareness in Aruba.
