ORANJESTAD (AAN):
On Saturday morning, the Oranjestad Incubator hosted an information session focused on business opportunities and company establishment in downtown Oranjestad.
As part of the session, a presentation was given on the “New Oranjestad” platform, after which Minister of Finance, Economic Affairs, and the Primary Sector, Geoffrey Wever, was invited to explain the fiscal incentives available under the Startersregeling.
The Startersregeling offers tax incentives for start-ups and incubators, targeting members of the Oranjestad Incubator and the Impact Hub Aruba community. The session also highlighted fiscal incentives aimed at stimulating property development within the city center of Oranjestad.
The “New Oranjestad” project continues to move forward under the slogan “Playa ta renace” (“Playa is being reborn”), reflecting ongoing efforts to revitalize the historic downtown area and encourage entrepreneurship, innovation, and urban renewal.
