This week, Minister of Justice Mr. Arthur Dowers welcomed Dutch Police High Commissioner Janny Knol and her delegation during their official visit to Aruba.
The visit, though brief, was of great significance, reflecting the ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between the Aruba Police Force (Korps Politie Aruba) and the Dutch Police.
During the meeting at the Ministry of Justice, both parties discussed various topics, including the development of joint initiatives and enhanced collaboration between law enforcement bodies in Aruba and the Netherlands.
In addition to her meeting with Minister Dowers, High Commissioner Knol also paid courtesy visits to the Prosecutor General of Aruba, as well as to several police stations, including Oranjestad, Santa Cruz, and the Beach Police (Strandpolitie).
This visit underscores the continued partnership between Aruba and the Netherlands in promoting safety, professional training, and effective law enforcement practices across the Kingdom.
