Elmar Contacto cu Bario returns tonight, Tuesday, August 18, 2026, with a community meeting at the MFA building in Savaneta from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The event is open to residents of Savaneta and surrounding neighborhoods, as well as other Elmar customers interested in the topics being discussed.
Elmar introduced Contacto cu Bario around three years ago to bring the company closer to the community.
Through the initiative, Elmar visits different districts across Aruba to provide information, answer questions and hear directly from residents about their concerns and experiences with electricity service.
Solar Panels and Energy Savings on Agenda
Audrey Croes of Elmar said two of the main topics for the Savaneta session are the inspection process for solar panels and practical ways consumers can reduce electricity use.
Customers considering installing solar panels are especially encouraged to attend.
The event is also intended for people who already have questions about approval and inspection procedures, as well as anyone interested in learning how to use electricity more efficiently.
DTI and Professional Installers to Participate
Elmar will not be the only organization represented at the meeting.
DTI and professional installers are also expected to participate, giving residents an opportunity to receive information directly from specialists involved in the process.
Practical guidance and explanations will be provided during the session.
At the end of the program, members of the public will also be able to ask questions directly to the representatives present.
Through Elmar Contacto cu Bario, the company aims to combine information with direct dialogue so residents can better understand electricity-related issues while also sharing their own concerns and suggestions.
Residents of Savaneta and nearby areas are encouraged to attend tonight’s meeting at MFA Savaneta from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
