A KIA dumping cleanup has taken place behind the Korrektie Instituut Aruba, according to a November 3 follow-up report by 24ora. The outlet says Bureau City Inspector and its team visited the area on Tuesday morning and cleared the rubbish.
Action follows an earlier complaint
The cleanup follows 24ora’s Monday report about waste dumped behind the prison. That earlier account recorded residents’ concerns and a request for action; the new report says the area has now been cleaned.
Outlet reports the area is clear again
24ora thanked the inspection team for responding. Its follow-up does not identify who dumped the waste, describe an enforcement finding or say that a fine was issued. The newly reported development is the cleanup, rather than a conclusion about responsibility for the dumping.
