Students in grades 4, 5 and 6 at Colegio Santa Filomena in San Nicolas recently welcomed scientist Dr. Edward Cheung, a San Nicolas native who now works with NASA.
The Edward Cheung Aruba visit gave students an opportunity to hear from a scientist with roots in their own community, according to Diario.

Cheung spoke with the three classes and discussed a range of topics during the school visit. The meeting allowed students to ask questions and learn from his professional experience.
The school described the session as an inspiring experience for the children, who met someone from San Nicolas who went on to build a scientific career.
