The La Cabana Aruba 35th anniversary was marked with a reception recognizing employees, board members, business partners and the resort’s connection with the wider community.
Resort reflects on growth since 1990 opening
According to EA News, La Cabana officially opened on December 15, 1990, as La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club. The property later replaced the Racquet Club name with a casino and completed a multi-year improvement program while operating independently.
General Manager Joe Najjar credited the Mansur family’s early backing, the resort’s ownership and board, employees, suppliers and public-sector partners for its development over three and a half decades.
Long-serving employees receive recognition
The reception recognized six employees reported to have served for 35 years: Ingrid Bremer, Efigenio Dania, Giovanni Britten, Nilda Girigori, Ninfa Jaranillo and Susan Estanislao. The board also donated to La Cabana Aportando, its nonprofit association supporting charitable initiatives.
