Grupo Pegasaya has won the 2026 quiz night organized for members of Adulto Activo Piedra Plat. Seven teams competed in the community event held last week.
Nos cu Nos finished in second place, while Grupo Cayente received recognition as the event’s atmosphere or team-spirit group.
Seven teams and five categories
The competing groups were Nos cu Nos, Team Shoco, Team Tortuga, Team Cayente, Grupo Kini Kini, Grupo Pegasaya and Grupo Sesonan Spierto.
Questions and activities covered Aruba landscapes, fauna, true-or-false knowledge, a mystery-box category and Aruba stars. The mix tested local knowledge while keeping the competition accessible and social for participants.
Community participation
Addonsito Croes and Jarissa Dubero organized and presented the quiz, with assistance from Jari Melaan, Nicole Tromp and Dylan Fingal. The presentation team thanked Adulto Activo Piedra Plat for the opportunity to bring the activity to its members.
The event added a friendly competition to the group’s program and created an opportunity for older adults and community members to participate together. No date for a next edition was announced in the source report.
