Gino Petrocchi Wins Tumba Loco at Festival di Tumba 2026

ORANJESTAD (AAN):
Laughter, dancing, and smiling faces filled the Aruba Carnival & Entertainment Village in San Nicolas on Saturday night as Gino Petrocchi performed his lively tumba “Bati’e Pe Sali” during the Festival di Tumba 2026.

After the event continued into the early hours of Sunday morning, the jury announced that Gino Petrocchi was the winner of the Tumba Loco category.

The winning song, “Bati’e Pe Sali,” was composed by Hendry Tromp and Richard Quant, and arranged by Hendry Tromp.

Audience reaction was immediate and enthusiastic, with spectators praising the song’s energetic style, rhythm, pronunciation, and composition. The performance stood out as a highlight of the evening, earning widespread approval from the crowd.
