FCCA (Fundacion Cas Comunidad Arubiano) has outlined a long-term plan to maintain its homes and ensure adequate budgeting, according to Technical and Commercial Director Julie Wever. The plan spans five years, detailing the maintenance schedule for the coming period, including inspections, repairs, and landscaping improvements.
“We are visiting all homes to address exterior maintenance, such as windows and doors, and ensuring landscaping is well cared for. This approach allows us to maintain all neighborhoods efficiently,” said Wever.
She emphasized that a neighborhood’s upkeep requires responsibility from both FCCA and the residents living in the homes. Each resident contributes to maintaining their surroundings, complementing FCCA’s efforts.
Wever also highlighted the collaboration with the government, explaining that roads and sidewalks are included in the partnership to enhance overall neighborhood upkeep.
“This is a strategic initiative. With proper planning and budget allocation, we aim to ensure the homes and neighborhoods remain in excellent condition for the community,” Wever concluded.
