ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Aruba’s Department of Education (DEA) has received 423 applications for the Arubalening student loan program, including 63 students planning to pursue higher education in Aruba and 360 students intending to study abroad.
The department also concluded its “Ban pa Bay 2026” program, organized in collaboration with Realign Coaching Consultancy & Services, the Stimuleringsfonds and the Strategic Educational Alliance (SEA). The program featured six workshops designed to prepare students for higher education, covering study planning, leadership, budgeting, emotional wellbeing and adapting to university life in Aruba or overseas.
DEA reminded students that July 15, 2026, is the deadline to submit all required Arubalening documents, including proof of admission, insurance, banking information and signed loan agreements.
Students traveling to the Netherlands through the Arubalening NL Reisproduct must also confirm or update their travel arrangements by the same deadline. The department encouraged applicants to regularly check the Arubalening portal and DEA’s official communication channels for updates.
