The University of Aruba’s Social Work & Development program will hold the fourth edition of Social Carousel 2026 on Tuesday, October 13. This year’s event is open to the wider public as well as students.
Public invited to meet social-service organizations
The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the university’s MC Building in Oranjestad. Admission is free.
Organizations and professionals working in social welfare, health, education and justice are expected to take part through information stands and presentations. Visitors will be able to learn about services and projects available in Aruba and speak directly with professionals in those fields.
Connecting education with professional practice
The program says the event is intended to strengthen links among higher education, professional practice and the community. For Social Work & Development students, the gathering offers a chance to explore career areas and begin building professional networks.
According to the organizers, opening the event to the public also supports dialogue and collaboration among organizations, professionals, students and community members.
