Firefighters and police officers responded to reports of a fire at the Pacifico restaurant in Dakota on Monday morning. Initial reports received by emergency services indicated a significant blaze within the kitchen area, prompting the immediate dispatch of first responders to the location.
Upon arrival at the scene, the patrol team determined that the fire was not located inside the kitchen as initially suspected. Instead, they discovered the flames outside the building, positioned dangerously close to a large gas tank. Due to the proximity to the gas tank and the potential risk involved, an additional fire unit was dispatched to provide support.
After assessing the situation, emergency personnel confirmed it was a small fire burning outside the premises. Firefighters deployed water hoses to suppress the flames and successfully extinguished the fire, bringing the incident under control.
