ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The Fundación Buki di Pret has officially launched the sixth edition of its popular vacation activity book for children in Aruba.
The first copies were distributed at Colegio Sagrado Corazón in Savaneta by local entertainer Tarrick Ras. Students received their copies in a festive ceremony, marking the start of the annual distribution to all elementary school children across Aruba.
This year, approximately 9,000 students will receive a free copy. The book features 104 pages with 112 activities across categories including arts & crafts, sports, educational topics, and culinary experiences. A new sticker program encourages active participation and helps children track their holiday activities.
The foundation has also upgraded its reservation system to accommodate the growing popularity of the program, including online booking, waitlists, and WhatsApp reminders. Special activities for vulnerable children continue to ensure inclusive participation.
Buki di Pret Aruba thrives thanks to support from local companies, associations, volunteers, and sponsors, allowing thousands of children to enjoy an active and educational summer each year.
