Bucuti & Tara has won a Silver ICRT tourism award in the 2026 Responsible Tourism Awards’ Regenerative Tourism category.
Recognition highlights a long-term Aruba model
The resort was the only Caribbean hotel to receive an ICRT Responsible Tourism Award for regenerative tourism in 2026. The award recognizes work intended to strengthen Aruba’s environment, community, culture and economy.
Programs span conservation and community support
The resort’s initiatives include a 32-acre nature preserve in Noord, long-running Eagle Beach cleanups, native-tree planting and support for animal welfare. Bucuti & Tara also cited local hiring and purchasing, employee programs, cultural partnerships and opportunities for guests to join conservation activities.
The International Center for Responsible Tourism evaluates measurable impact, innovation, influence and practices that can contribute to positive change in tourism.
