During the past week, Biblioteca Nacional Aruba was honored with a formal distinction for its exemplary work within the local community. The award was presented as a prize for the annual project titled “Conta Cuenta na Cas di nos Grandinan,” a highly valued initiative.
This project marks its 20th anniversary in 2026, having operated faithfully since 2006. The library’s board used the occasion to express profound gratitude to the organizing commission, the Media Team, sponsors, and all individuals who contributed tirelessly over the years.
The collective effort behind the project is anchored in a vision to provide dignified service and moments of joy to the elderly. The initiative serves seniors in various nursing homes located around Aruba.
