Aruba Tourism Reports Strong May 2026 Results according to the latest report released by the Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) through its Strategy, Planning and Research Department.

The report includes findings from the 2025 Spending Insights study, based on the A.T.A. Airport Exit Survey, which was reintroduced in 2024 after being suspended during the pandemic. The survey collects detailed information about visitor spending patterns, travel behavior, accommodation preferences, satisfaction levels, and the likelihood of returning to Aruba.

According to the findings, Aruba Tourism Reports Strong May 2026 Results with total visitor spending reaching USD 3.06 billion in 2025. The average daily expenditure per visitor (ADEX) was recorded at USD 297, while the average package expenditure, including airfare, reached USD 4,624. Average spending per travel group totaled USD 4,989, and average spending per visitor during their stay amounted to USD 2,019.

Accommodation represented the largest share of visitor spending at 38%, followed by food and beverages outside accommodations at 13% and food and beverages within accommodations at 12%.

North America remained Aruba’s most important tourism market, contributing USD 2.37 billion, or 78% of total visitor spending. Latin America accounted for USD 460 million (15%), while Europe contributed USD 144 million (5%).

The report also revealed that more than 8,000 surveys were analyzed, with 64% of respondents being first-time visitors and 36% returning visitors.

Aruba Tourism Reports Strong May 2026 Results with a total of 133,680 stayover visitors arriving during May 2026. Through May, the island recorded 1,515,102 stayover nights, resulting in an average length of stay of 7 nights.

North America accounted for 74.4% of arrivals during the month, followed by South America at 19.0%, Europe at 4.1%, and other regions at 2.5%. The United States and Canada continued to be the leading North American source markets, while Argentina showed strong growth within South America. The Netherlands remained the leading European market.

Visitor demographics showed that Millennials represented 27.7% of visitors, Baby Boomers 25.7%, Generation X 25.3%, and Generation Z 13.7%, highlighting Aruba’s appeal across multiple generations of travelers.

The Aruba Tourism Reports Strong May 2026 Results report provides valuable data that will help guide strategic tourism planning focused on quality, value, and sustainability for the future of Aruba’s tourism industry.
