The Aruba SUELDO app is now available in Dutch, Papiamento, English and Spanish, giving workers and employers a multilingual tool for checking the hourly minimum wage.
Tool supports the hourly-wage transition
Labor Minister Wendrick Cicilia and the Department of Labor and Research said the calculator was developed for the hourly minimum wage introduced on January 1, 2026. The current statutory rate stated in the announcement is Afl. 11.58 per hour. Users can enter weekly hours to estimate weekly and monthly pay.
Labor guidance is available online
The ministry said adding Papiamento, English and Spanish to the original Dutch version is intended to reduce language barriers in Aruba’s multilingual workforce. The app and related frequently asked questions are available through the DAO website. The tool provides guidance and is expected to receive further development.
