Aruba police are investigating a San Nicolas armed robbery reported Wednesday evening at Mei Hua Xi Supermarket on Weg Seroe Preto.
Two masked suspects were reported
Police said the call came in at about 8:10 p.m. According to the initial account, two masked men entered the store and one carried a firearm. A person behind the cash register was reportedly struck with the weapon. The suspects wore dark clothing and fled on foot with approximately Afl. 5,000.
Victim received medical treatment
Ambulance personnel treated the victim and transported the person to IMSAN. Aruba’s robbery team and forensic police attended the scene and opened an investigation. Police asked anyone with relevant information to contact the anonymous tip line listed in the official appeal.
