Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino has proudly marked its 30th anniversary, celebrating three decades of hospitality excellence, loyal partnerships, and meaningful community impact. The milestone was commemorated with elegant guest events, associate recognition activities, and the announcement of major upgrades to the resort.

Elegant Anniversary Celebration on South Beach

The anniversary celebration brought together loyal guests, media representatives, tourism partners, and team members for an elegant evening at South Beach. The resort’s executive team, together with sales and marketing leadership, curated a sophisticated event featuring contemporary lounge décor and refined lighting that transformed the white sands into a stylish celebration venue.

Complex General Manager Raoul Lemmering welcomed attendees and expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported the resort throughout its 30-year journey. He emphasized the importance of teamwork, guest loyalty, and long-standing partnerships in building the resort’s success, noting that the celebration honored both the past and the future of the property.

Culinary Excellence and Entertainment

Culinary experiences played a central role during the evening, with signature restaurants Atardi, The Lobby, and Mercat collaborating to present their finest dishes. Under the direction of Executive Chef Cristiano Guidetti, guests enjoyed a diverse menu highlighting creativity, quality, and international flavors.

The celebration continued with lively entertainment by Buleria, inviting guests onto the dance floor and creating an atmosphere filled with music, ocean breezes, and island elegance—capturing the true spirit of Aruba hospitality.

414 Fully Renovated Rooms Announced

As part of its continued commitment to guest satisfaction, Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino announced the completion of renovations to all 414 rooms and suites. The refreshed accommodations feature a more sophisticated design, refined finishes, enhanced comfort, and modern amenities, offering guests an elevated and contemporary stay experience.

Despite ongoing growth and improvements, the resort reaffirmed that exceptional service remains at the core of its brand and continues to define the guest experience.

Associate Appreciation Week Highlights Team Commitment

In addition to its anniversary, the resort hosted its annual Associate Appreciation Week from November 17 to 22. As Aruba’s largest hotel complex operating 24/7, recognizing and valuing associates remains a top priority.

The Human Resources team organized a full week of activities promoting connection, wellness, and teamwork. Events included social gatherings, interactive games, wellness-focused sessions, glow-in-the-dark padel, bowling night, and a Family Movie Night hosted in the resort ballroom. Special attention was also given to night-shift associates to ensure inclusive participation.

Community Engagement and Giving Back

Community involvement remained a key focus during the celebrations. Associates visited Imeldahof, sharing the resort’s anniversary with children and reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility. The week also marked the 26th anniversary of the Care Foundation, which is largely funded by associates and supports community initiatives across Aruba.

Looking Ahead

After 30 years of service, Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino continues to invest in its people, facilities, and community. With a workplace culture built on respect, growth, and opportunity, the resort remains a cornerstone of Aruba’s hospitality industry and a trusted luxury destination for visitors from around the world.
