ORANJESTAD, Aruba — Inspectie Volksgezondheid Aruba focused on Aruba healthcare risk management at the third edition of its Quality of Healthcare Conference, held under the theme “Risky Business.”
Conference examined system-wide risks
IVA director Dorylee Pappers-Penha said the gathering reviewed observations from two years of inspections and identified improvements. The discussion applied to family doctors, pharmacies, hospitals and other care providers.
Five-year inspection strategy presented
IVA presented its 2026–2031 strategic plan, prioritizing the most significant risks while acknowledging resource limits. Conference information will be developed into a report supporting safer care.
