ORANJESTAD, Aruba — A driver was injured in a Paradijswijk crash after a Chevrolet Aveo left Caya Frere Alexius and struck a parked Lincoln MKX, according to Diario.
Impact caused extensive vehicle damage
The Aveo mounted the curb and hit the rear side of the parked SUV. The impact damaged the Lincoln’s bumper, axle and rear suspension and tore off a wheel; the Aveo also sustained major damage.
Paramedics treated driver at the scene
Neighbours came outside after hearing the collision. Ambulance personnel treated the injured woman who had been driving the Aveo, but the initial report said hospital transport was not required.
