No More Appointments Available This Week for Yellow Fever Vaccine, Says DVG
11
VIEWS

The Department of Public Health (DVG) announced that all available appointments for the Yellow Fever vaccination this week are fully booked. No additional slots will be available until further notice.

DVG urges all travelers planning to visit high-risk countries or regions, including parts of South America, Central America, and Africa, to schedule their vaccine appointments well in advance — at least 10 days before travel. This advance planning is necessary to allow the vaccine time to take effect and, in some cases, meet entry requirements for certain countries.

The Yellow Fever vaccine is a single-dose immunization that offers lifelong protection. After receiving the vaccine, travelers are reminded to safely store their official vaccination proof (the “Yellow Booklet”), as many countries require it for entry or exit.

To avoid travel disruptions, DVG strongly advises travelers not to wait until the last minute to book their appointments.

For more information, visit the DVG Aruba Facebook page, go to www.dvg.aw, call 522-4200, or email servicio@dvg.aw.
