Den Nos Bario is scheduled to premiere on Telearuba on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 7 p.m., according to Diario’s November 5 report. The locally produced programme aims to preserve oral histories from Aruba’s districts, including accounts that have not previously reached a wider audience.
Noord features in three programmes
Presenter Siomara Everon said the project began about three years ago with San Nicolas and has now turned to Noord. Three programmes will explore Noord’s beginnings, its people and its social and economic history, including residents known for their contributions to the district.
The production intends to cover every district. Episodes will also be available through YouTube after broadcast, the report says; it does not provide a specific channel or viewing link.
Historical accounts and illustrated scenes
According to the report, the programme combines editing, sound effects, photographs and recreated historical scenes. The producers said artificial intelligence would be used to illustrate certain accounts for which photographs do not exist. Such images should not be confused with archival photographs of the events described.
Diario reports support from UNOCA and the Aruba Tourism Authority. English subtitles are planned for 2027 so visitors can also learn about the island’s history; that is a future plan, not confirmation that subtitled episodes are already available.
