Minister corrects claims about her whereabouts
Wyatt-Ras issued a statement after public claims that she was absent from the island or travelling to Washington, according to 24ora.
The minister said she remains in Aruba carrying out her responsibilities. She also said no Washington trip was scheduled and that she would not attend a publicly mentioned Pan American Health Organization meeting.
Government, AZV and hospital remain in talks
Wyatt-Ras said the government, AZV and Horacio Oduber Hospital are in dialogue to clarify the hospital’s position and work toward concrete, sustainable solutions.
The statement did not announce a completed agreement, funding package or timetable. It presented continuity of care and patient welfare as the priorities guiding the discussions.
