Aruba’s National Library will hold three workshops for teachers preparing to participate with their classes in the 2026 Children’s Book Festival.
According to 24Ora, the workshops are intended for teachers who want their class to receive a visit from a children’s author or illustrator.
Workshops scheduled in Oranjestad and San Nicolas
Two sessions will take place at the library in Oranjestad on September 28 and 29 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. A third session is scheduled for the San Nicolas library on September 30 at the same time.
Registration is being handled through the National Library. Teachers can use the contact details provided in the original announcement.
Festival theme focuses on performance
The 2026 Children’s Book Festival theme is “Lights, Camera, Action!” The program will highlight stories about singing, dancing, theatre and the people who work both onstage and behind the scenes.
The library said the festival will use performance, creativity and imagination to encourage children to engage with books and storytelling.
