Quota International of Aruba will offer free hearing tests from September 21 through 25 during Aruba Hearing Care Week.
Annual program is open to all ages
Quota president Farida Figaroa said the organization has run the awareness program since 1989. The five-minute screening is intended for every age because hearing loss can also affect younger residents. Appointments are required, and available hours differ by location.
Local partners support screenings
The program is organized with The Specialist, SVB San Nicolas, FEPOH and Aruba Hearing Institute. Quota also plans school outreach about preventing irreversible hearing damage. People previously referred for a detailed examination are advised to contact FEPOH rather than use the brief screening.
