The upcoming Mayvir Orman MMA fight will place the Aruban athlete on an international stage as he competes for another championship title in Asuncion, Paraguay.
Prime Minister Mike Eman recently received Mayvir “Aruban Earthquake” Orman ahead of his next international challenge.
Orman is currently the SFC International Heavyweight Champion and is preparing to compete for a second title.
On September 19, 2026, he is scheduled to headline the South American Fighting Championship as the main event.
He will face a professional fighter from Argentina for the SFC International Light Heavyweight Championship in the 93-kilogram division.
Before the fight, Orman will leave Aruba on August 9 for an intensive training camp at Exile Combat Studio in Bogota, Colombia.
After meeting with the prime minister, Orman said he appreciated the encouragement and motivational words he received.
He said he intends to represent Aruba with pride and return home with another championship belt.
Orman currently competes as a heavyweight at approximately 101 kilograms.
The upcoming contest will require him to compete in the light heavyweight division, giving him the opportunity to become a champion in two different weight classes.
“I am already a heavyweight champion, and now I am going for the light heavyweight title,” Orman said.
He also expressed pride in representing Aruba on a major international platform.
According to Orman, the event is being organized through a collaboration between SFC and the World Kickboxing Network.
His fight against the Argentine representative is expected to serve as the main event of the evening.
Orman said the opportunity will give Aruba significant international exposure.
Prime Minister Eman wished the athlete success during his preparation in Colombia and during the championship fight in Paraguay.
He also praised Orman’s discipline, dedication and continued efforts to represent Aruba internationally.
Orman invited the Aruban community to follow his journey and support him as he prepares for the Mayvir Orman MMA fight on September 19.
