ORANJESTAD (AAN) – An Elderly Man Injured After Escape Attempt at Soledad Care Home prompted a response from police and ambulance personnel on Saturday evening.
Authorities were dispatched after receiving reports that an elderly resident had attempted to leave the care facility and injured himself during the incident. When officers arrived, they found the man injured while he continued trying to flee.
Police restrained the man to prevent him from leaving the premises and requested an ambulance to provide medical assistance. Due to his aggressive behavior, paramedics treated him at the scene under police supervision.
After receiving medical attention, the man eventually calmed down, allowing police officers to leave the location. No further details about his condition were released.
