An Aruba Birdlife letter dated October 22 asks the government to set out its position on ATV and UTV routes in writing before court-directed discussions, according to NoticiaCla.
Request follows the October 14 court direction
Aruba Birdlife Conservation’s lawyer, G.W. Rep, addressed the letter to Prime Minister Mike Eman, Infrastructure Minister René Herdé and Justice Minister Arthur Dowers. The report says the court directed the government, the foundation and a tour-operator representative to enter constructive dialogue.
According to the lawyer’s account in the report, no meeting communication had been received at the time of the letter. That is the foundation’s stated position, not independent confirmation of every exchange between the parties.
Foundation distinguishes between route sections
ABC seeks explanations about existing technical advice and protected areas. The report says it would allow continued access between Bushiribana and Natural Bridge and proposes tightly controlled temporary access between Alto Vista and Bushiribana, while opposing access in other specified areas.
The letter also questions a proposed DirtGlue road budget and comments on GPS enforcement. It is a formal request for answers, not an agreement on routes, a newly enacted ban or a completed settlement of the litigation.
