ORANJESTAD (AAN): On June 17, a 17-year-old teenager was arrested after attempting to flee police on a motorcycle and colliding with a car.
During custody at the Oranjestad police station, the teen complained of severe ankle pain. Authorities immediately dispatched an ambulance, and medical personnel confirmed a fractured ankle, transporting him to the hospital for treatment.
Police reported the teen initially tried to escape before the collision, and the arrest was made safely.
