ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Police authorities responded to a disturbance report early Saturday morning involving a physical altercation in front of a hotel situated at Eagle Beach.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the incident involved two female tourists who had recently arrived on the island for the first time. According to initial reports, the altercation began after the pair consumed alcohol purchased from a duty-free shop, leading to a heated argument.
The dispute reportedly escalated into a physical confrontation before police could separate the parties. Officers spoke with both women to de-escalate the situation and subsequently escorted them back to their hotel accommodations. Authorities did not immediately release further details regarding any potential legal consequences.
