ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Police and ambulance personnel responded Thursday morning to a traffic accident with injuries in the Sero Patrishi area of Aruba.
According to authorities, the accident occurred after the driver of a Toyota Yaris reportedly miscalculated the speed and distance of an approaching Mitsubishi Lancer that had the right of way.
The Toyota Yaris entered the roadway in front of the Mitsubishi Lancer, resulting in a collision between both vehicles.
Due to the impact, the driver of the Mitsubishi Lancer sustained injuries.
Ambulance personnel treated the injured victim at the scene before transporting the person to the hospital for further medical attention.
Police continued investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
